DAVID MACAULAY!

David Macaulay is a recent recipient of the MacArthur Genius Fellowship (2006), and winner of the Caldecott Medal, the Christopher Medal, and the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, among others.
His books for young people (and adults) include several brilliant architectural investigations - CASTLE, CATHEDRAL, PYRAMID, and MOSQUE - but he is best known for his bestselling (and now considered classic) THE WAY THINGS WORK, a book about machines and how they work.
He is currently promoting his new book, THE WAY WE WORK, a fascinating discussion of the human body and how it works.
David shares his genius and his holiday cheer with the Reading Reptile on Saturday, December 27th, from 5 - 7PM.
Reservations/tickets are required! Books will be available for purchase at the Reading Reptile and David will sign as many as you like. However, you may only bring one book from home (not purchased at the Reptile.)
If you can not make it to the event but would like to purchase books and get them sign - give us a call. We'll do it for you!
